Hear me out, I possess a fondness for Gift Baskets, commonly referred to here in the UK as Hampers. Whether it's the assortment of tiny packaged items or their undeniable connection to itself, there's just something about Christmas Hampers that I secretly adore. I might even dare to say that Christmas Hamper Food is my preferred festive treat.

So, when the opportunity arose to evaluate one from the Hampers.com range, I eagerly seized it. Although it's usually frowned upon to purchase one for oneself, otherwise, I would undoubtedly sign up for a monthly Christmas Hamper delivery service (why isn't that a thing? It should be!), I genuinely believe it should be more common. Treat yourself, I say. Or, drop some not-so-sly hints to your partner or roommate. Truthfully, acquiring a hamper is an excellent idea if you're organizing a Christmas Party since most come with an assortment of ready-to-eat snacks and often include a bottle or two of wine.

For my personal choice, I selected the Gourmet Christmas Hamper (another fantastic option is the Christmas Delights Hamper). I opted for one without alcohol, being particularly eager to sample the Mulled Punch – and besides, I wanted to share the treats with my entire family, including my five-year-old daughter. The hamper arrived in a large festive box (which I plan to repurpose) and Lydia wasted no time sifting through the packaging to uncover the delights inside. Mince Pies, Cookies, Chocolate Buttons, and much more were waiting within.

I informed her that I needed to take some pictures, and she immediately started arranging everything on our table – complete with festive decor. Pro Tip: For a Christmas Hamper photoshoot, enlist an energetic 5-year-old. (Her reward included some chocolate chip cookies. To be fair, I think she did an excellent job.)

These Peppermind Dark Chocolate buttons were my favorite part of the Hamper, but I'm saving the Mince Pies for later.

If you aren't the kind of person who subtly loves receiving Hampers, believe me, there's someone in your life who does, and for those individuals, gifting a Hamper this Christmas will fill their hearts with gratitude. The options are limitless – wine and cheese, chocolate, coffee, candies, and so much more… but I'll conclude with a wholehearted recommendation for Hampers.com
