Melillo took a much-loved striped shirtdress from the previous season and infused it with 1950s flair through an extended hem and short, cuffed sleeves. He also unveiled new trousers that are sure to be popular with his devoted patrons: They are roomy in the legs, create separation from the body, and feature crisp pleats down the front—but they feel as comfortable as yoga pants. Although they were styled with a cashmere hoodie in the lookbook, our thoughts are that they could be worn virtually anywhere.
