One of the highlights of managing a Community is witnessing holiday adornments from individuals across the globe. Occasionally, someone sends a set of images that truly captivate you, and recently, I had the delight of viewing pictures of the Joyce family’s decorations, and I simply had to share them.

Initially, there are around 20 trees, but Thomas mentions that they sometimes display over 30. “There’s always the family tree with heirloom ornaments. That’s the primary tree. There’s the horse tree, Hallmark tree, farm animal tree, peacock tree, fruit tree, gold tree—all the ornaments come from the Danbury mint.”

One aspect of the adornments that I absolutely adore is the upside-down tree above the dining area – absolutely magnificent.

Thomas elaborated more on the Christmas Villages (yes, multiple) they set up. “There are 3 villages, the most sizable being the department 56 Christmas in the City, comprising roughly 100 buildings. We acquired about 20 additional buildings this summer! There’s also The North Pole featuring about 30 structures and the Thomas Kinkade village.”

Curious how they have room for all these incredible decorations? “We remove most of our furniture and clear off every shelf and cabinet from our 1886 house, to make room!” And how many people get to witness this beautiful decor? Fortunately, they are starting to share with the neighbors… “Last year we began opening our house a couple of weekends to raise money for Friends of Noah, an animal rescue organization. We’re doing it again this year.”

I want to express gratitude to Thomas for sharing these fantastic images, and I hope everyone considers donating to their chosen charity – Friends of Noah Wisconsin.
