If you're a regular reader at ChristmasDesigners.com, you're aware that we frequently share detailed articles about the products we offer. However, this time, I'm reviewing an item that we don't have in our store.
Why would I do that? Simply because this product has left a significant impression on me.
I was invited to evaluate it some time ago, and I was so pleased with the product that I opted to share the review on our blog. I genuinely think that our typical Christmas designers' clients would highly appreciate this item.
The product in question is a 35″ faux tree designed for outdoor use. It's not a flashy, over-the-top ornament. It's just a modest, bare-branched tree featuring numerous snowflake-shaped, bright white LED lights.
Even though it's branded as a “Christmas decoration,” there's nothing overtly Christmas-themed about it. This solar snowflake tree can definitely enhance your holiday decorations, but it also seamlessly integrates with your outdoor decor any time of the year.
Really Solar Powered!
As the name suggests, this item is solar-powered. If you've tried solar products in the past, you might not have been overly impressed. Often, ‘solar-powered' can feel like a euphemism for ‘runs out quickly.'
However, this product stays true to its solar-powered promise – possibly due to the low energy consumption of the LED lights, or advancements in solar technology.
That doesn't mean the snowflake tree will stay illuminated all night – that would be too much to ask. But I noted that after a day with moderate sunlight, the tree stayed brightly lit for 4 to 5 hours. After a sun-filled day, it remained lit for over 6 hours. More than sufficient to cover the evening hours during which most people are outdoors.
While the power usage of this little tree may not significantly impact your local power plant's load, it's still rewarding to ‘go green' when possible. Every small effort counts.
Sturdy Yet Graceful…
Despite its delicate appearance, this tree is robust and resilient. I've had it displayed in my yard for several months. It has endured the intense UV exposure of a hot Texas summer. It's been regularly soaked whenever my lawn sprinklers activate. And it still looks as pristine and functions as reliably as it did when first unpacked.
The solar snowflake tree is an excellent product – and it's available at a price that's hard to beat.
