Allowing account suggestions and friend syncing grants TikTok access to data from other social networks and your device, facilitating the discovery of acquaintances on TikTok.

Location Services

This aspect of TikTok monitors your location, enabling you to tag places in your posts and equipping TikTok with the information needed to tailor your experience based on your location.

The remaining items in the ‘Privacy Settings’ menu focus on your interactions within the app and the ways other users can connect with you. Exploring these will offer insight into who can observe your various activities on TikTok, who can comment on your posts, and who can send you messages.
