Regarding Advent Calendars, I tend to be quite the traditionalist. A Chocolate advent calendar has always graced my home, even before I embraced parenthood. The anticipation of unveiling a surprise each day in December leading up to is a cherished holiday custom that enhances the magic of the season.

Unique Advent Calendar Concepts

Here in the UK, I've observed an even wider array of choices compared to Canada. From Cheese to Cereal, the variety of advent calendars available today is astounding, although not all are suitable for children. It appears as though every business is launching an Advent calendar – and I couldn't be more thrilled. Especially those featuring high-quality candies, chocolates, and sweets.

I've been an admirer of Jelly Belly for about 20 years – I delve deeper into this in my Video Review of their 2019 Advent Calendar.

Generally, I had an amazing time with this advent calendar and unwrapping it with Lydia was delightful. It's one of the rare calendars that I'd suggest enjoying day by day rather than all at once, because it contains so much candy that, in all honesty, we're still enjoying it even a week later. All of the flavours (even the ones we didn't prefer) met the high standards and quality you'd anticipate from Jelly Belly.

As mentioned in my video review, I deeply appreciate the effort they put into incorporating some Christmas-themed candies alongside the classics (such as my favourite, Buttered Popcorn). Some of the finest holiday-themed flavours in the calendar are also available in a separate American Holiday Favorites package. We're hosting a giveaway for a package of American Holiday Favorites on our video review on YouTube, so head over there to learn more!

If you're seeking a sugary alternative to Chocolate this year, I highly suggest the Jelly Belly Advent Calendar (UK: purchase it on Amazon for £13.99) or for a bit of extra fun, consider the BeanBoozled Advent Calendar (UK on Amazon £16.99).
